Timberwolf is the project name of the AmigaOS port of the Firefox web browser (for legal reasons it cannot be called Firefox). Firefox is an award-winning open source web browser and is the de-facto-standard browser across a wide variety of operating system, taking second place in popularity after Microsoft' s Internet Explorer. Its features include tabbed browsing, support for HTML 5, ECMAScript 3.1, and CSS 3, extensibility through addons, and a lot more. In short, Firefox is the most complete open source browser to date.

|Title:||Timberwolf updated to 4.0 final|
|Text:||Some good news on the issue of migration to 4.0: First of all, the 4.0b7 build we used for the next version of Timberwolf now compiles fully, with the only exception that the widget 'nsWindow' class isn't fully implemented yet (which means, you won't get graphical output yet). However, the bigger challenge was compiling the 4.0b7 baseline, and that's working now.
So I took the code of the 4.0 final that has been released a few days ago and updated to that. There's still a few quirks to be removed, but it went over pretty well. So bottom line, we're now up-to-date with the final release of Firefox 4.0. In the next days (time permitting) I will start working on the implementation of the nsWindow class.
