|Title:||News about native AAMP|
|Text:||After a long period of development, the native version of AAMP is nearly done. All binaries seems to be stable enough for a release, but a few things have to be done to complete the package:
* Do some more tests
* Create the install script and documentation
* Clean up the sources for a release
Unfortunately the author of the tools "myApacheStarter" and "mySQLmanager" has no working OS4 machine at the moment. So he has no access to the sources and the tools cannot be adapted to native AAMP. If the tools are not finished right in time, I will publish a prerelease without these tools.
The long delay was caused by several reasons. One was my attempt to implement support of shared objects. I was not able to make it. So I've made a complete recompile to remove it. All binaries are linked statically again, like it was in the AmiCygnix version.
But some problems could be removed in native AAMP, that were present in the AmiCygnix version. For example the PHP mysqli extension should now work as it should.
I guess, that I can publish the package in the next 2 oder 3 weeks.
